8/11/19 16:45 Walk and Talk for Men’s Mental Health

Join the community walk to raise awareness of men’s mental health and suicide prevention on the 8th November 2019, when Dundee play Dundee United at 7.45pm. The walk is open to all fans and non football fans of all ages and genders. It starts from the junction of Dens Road and Provost Road at 4.45pm, before heading towards the Balgay Pub in Dundee for a pit stop, and finally, onto Dens Park for the game.

9/11/19 14:00 – 16:00 Family Business Barbershop In-Store Fundraiser

As part of their relaunch, the Family Business Barbershop is hosting a live gig on Saturday in their shop to raise money for friends and relatives suffering from cancer, with all donations going to the Maggies Centre. Live music from Pete Smith and the Troublemakers. All welcome.

16/11/19 10:00 The Friary’s Annual Christmas Craft Fair

The Friary’s Christmas Craft Fair is an annual free event for the community. Over 35 stalls with produce from local crafters, pop-up Christmas Cafe, Children’s Activities. This year we are also thrilled to have Togs for Tots participating. We will be hosting their Childrens Pyjama’s appeal. Proceeds are going to Togs for Tots and The Friary’s community services such as “The Bridge”, “Re-connections” and “Little Stars”. 16/11/19 10:00 Tayside Cancer Support’s Silver Celebration

A silver celebration for the charity’s past 25 years and looking forward to the next 25. Our event will be free entry to all with lots of activities to get involved in. There will be face painting, make-up demonstrations, music, teas and many stalls where you can pick up some Christmas gifts. At 12 o’clock we will be cutting our birthday cake and presenting the winners of our schools Christmas card competition and these lovely cards will be available to buy on the day. Come along and have some fun and support this great charity.
