On Air: All About Dundee and Perth

The Sound of Dundee and Perth Competition Rules

Competition Rules

The following rules are together with, and in addition to, Wave FM’s Competition Terms and Conditions.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Entry:

To enter the Competition, an Entrant must phone Wave FM, and tell the presenter their answer.

The entry time is between 8:10am and 8:15am. A random caller will be selected from the switchboard, and invited to play the Competition for that day.

Entrants must phone 01382 900 102 at the specified entry time, and state what they think the Sound of Dundee and Perth is, and where in the local area it was recorded.

Calls are charged at standard network rate.

Entrants contact details are not shared with any other third parties. See the DC Thomson privacy policy for more information.

Entrants must be aged 18 or over to enter.

Entrants must be a resident in the Wave FM transmission area and have a DD or PH postcode.

A call will be recorded and played out on air. By taking part in this Competition the entrant agrees to the call being recorded, played out on air and used for promotional purposes including on air promotions.

Prize:

The prize will be the value of that day’s prize money in cash.

For every day that the Competition runs without a correct answer, £10 will be added to the prize money.

When a correct answer is given, the prize money is reset to £250, and a new Sound of Dundee and Perth is chosen for the following day.

The winning Entrant will receive, in cash, the value of the prize money on the day they entered.

The cash prize will be available to pick up from the Wave FM offices on 11 Buchanan Street, Dundee (DD4 6SD) no more than 10 working days after the Entrant won.

Wave FM will advise the Entrant if this cash is available to pick up earlier.
