Western Gateway residents to meet council over school provision

Residents of Western Gateway are to meet council chiefs over future school provision.

A plan for the site previously said a primary school would be operational by 2022, but the council now wants to review this.

Paul Clancy, Dundee City Council's executive director of children and families service, says the issue is being taken "very seriously".

It follows a review of schooling in Dundee earlier this week, when other moves including a new campus for Braeview Academy and Craigie High schools, were discussed.
